Fire Instructor II Certification — This course meets the objectives in Chapter 4 of NFPA 1021 and covers the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to serve as an entry-level fire department company officer. Tropics include making the transition to officer; fire prevention; investigation; strategies and tactics; leadership; conflict resolution; community involvement; and communication.
