Fire Instructor I and II / Educational Methodology for Fire, Rescue, and EMS — This course is designed to train fire and emergency instructor candidates in learning and practicing the art of: (1) developing instructional strategies/techniques; (2) and demonstrating practical generic teaching and communications skills. Participants will prepare and deliver lesson presentations on a non-EMS or Fire related topic and a topic specific to the content area in which he or she will be teaching. The focus will be on responding to learner needs while meeting ethical/professional/safety standards and legal responsibilities.
